Dokuro records: nuove uscite

DK025 - Antony Milton - Pucullpa to Iquitos riverboat pop manglings
(3"CDr + Booklet)

Dokuro is proud to present "Pucullpa to Iquitos riverboat pop manglings " the new effort of New Zealand artist Antony Milton, recorded upon the 'Gilmer IV', a cargo ship that carries stores and passengers along the Pucullpa and Amazon Rivers between the jungle cities of Pucullpa and Iquitos in Peru.
The basic methodology was to play over the top of a random selection of Peruvian pop songs (recorded off the radio in advance ) building up layers- including vocals- before finally deleting the original radio track.

The artwork in the booklet is a selection of photo from a series of murals at the Iquitos zoo. These relate various local myths about the jungle, the river, and the spirits and demons that live there.

DK026 Humans Fuck Off
(C30)
Convulsive guitar approach, stomp boxes abuse and overgained tube amps. Asley Facchin (UnaLuna, Simmetria Distorta) and Michele Scariot (nodolby) recorded four improvisations inspired by high energy of artists like Haino Keiji, Thurston Moore, Dead C and Borbetomagus. Guitars flow change itself second-by-second moving from ululating tornado of dissonance to abstract pentatonic riffage ... the core of the works is to investigate catharsis of free improv at max volume.

DK027 Dao De Noize - NM III
(CDr)
Artem Pismenetskii aka Dao De Noize from Ukraine bundling three hypnotical tracks of extreme blasting electronics.
Static drone nebuale, cyclical propulsions of violent feedbacks, murmuring voices dives under LFO collisions, are perfectly dosed for a meditative journey with loud sounds.

DK028 Rotorvator + Rhuith - February
(C30)
"February" cassette is the first of an hopefully long series of collaborative efforts between Rotorvator and one man black metal extravaganza Rhuith; the bulk of the material was recorded during a joint session in winter 2010.
Eruptional is the trade mark of Rotorvator modus operandi. Magmatic guitar riffage and murky electronics made the counterpoint to the massively presence of inhuman growls and screams. Rhuith adds his infamous twisted melodies and damaged sound that fit perfectly to this combination of industrial/noise and black metal with a monolithic presence of vocalizing litanies and an epic pulsation that stretch the climax into a processional march from darkness to estatic peaks of black light
There's also a video for the opening track "Vulpecula inedia confecta" please check it here.
