On March 7, 2014 the new album of British singer/songwriter Bill Pritchard, called "A Trip To The Coast", will be released on Tapete Records.

Bill's eponymous debut album was released in 1987 on the Third Mind label, with a second following in 1988. Working with and alongside the likes of Daniel Darc, Etienne Daho, Francoise Hardy, and Ian Broudie, Pritchard expanded his audience from Europe to the US, Canada and Japan and became both commercially successful and a cult classic.

"A Trip To The Coast" is Bill's first album in eight years. Songs about love, loss, and Stoke-On-Trent. Classic Bill Pritchard really. There's lightness, there's darkness. Jangle and simplicity. Bill's rich voice running as a constant theme throughout.

The album was recorded in his native Staffordshire with long-time collaborator Tim Bradshaw, a process that both enjoyed immensely.
