Does exactly what it says on the tin: "London's biggest, longest running indie/alternative club night". And one of the DJs is called Eko. Oh dear.
What Feet First is best at is jumping on every bandwagon there is. I have very fond memories of the place back in 1995, when the horrors of Britpop had just reached their peak. Oasis here we come...
But things must have changed by now. Has Nu Metal replaced Britpop altogether? Looks quite like it. With a playlist straight outta XfM, Feet First appear to be big fans of Limp Bizkit and all things *duhn duhn duhn*. Unfortunately there's not only Nu Metal, but also Nu indie. And that's where the unneccesary high amount of Muse tracks played comes in.
Obviously the crowd has adapted to all this, as the great majority appears to be stuck in puberty (bad age). Although the kids try to make up for this distinct lack of adulthood by sporting wallet chains and the biggest trousers (pants!) ever witnessed by mankind. Ace. Not.
On top of that, Feet First has a reputation of putting on notoriously shite bands in the middle of the night (or since when are Skinnny and Feline any good?).
Verdict: If you're 16 and listen to XfM, this will be your haven. If you're past 18, however, Feet First will make you feel very very old.
